Training & coaching is about building confident teams who understand why behaviour happens and what they can do differently tomorrow. Sessions are grounded in applied behaviour analysis and positive behaviour support, but translated into everyday language so that staff, families, and leaders can use the ideas in real settings.
We offer workshops, small group sessions, and one–to–one coaching that connect theory with practice… using real examples from participants’ work rather than generic case studies. The emphasis is always on skills that can be observed, practised, and refined over time.
Training works best when people have space to practise… ask questions… and come back to refine their approach. Coaching provides that bridge between the training room and day–to–day work.
Sessions can be designed for a single service, a mixed group of organisations, or specific professional roles. We regularly work with direct support staff, teachers, clinicians, service leaders, and family groups, adapting language and examples to match the audience.
Before any training, we complete a brief planning conversation to understand your context, current priorities, and existing skills. Together we identify key outcomes, then shape the session format… from short briefings to multi-session series with coaching built in.
Yes. Training and coaching can be delivered on site, online, or as a blend of both. Remote options are useful for geographically distributed teams or for shorter follow-up sessions after an in-person event.
Impact can be explored through participant feedback, follow-up coaching conversations, and changes in specific practice indicators… for example, how teams respond to early warning signs, or how often agreed proactive strategies are used. Where data systems are in place, we can also help you link training to key outcome measures.
